OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Who May Enter: The TEAM RUSH SWEEPSTAKES is open to all legal residents
of
the 50 United States, except residents of Rhode Island, employees of
Atari
Games Corporation, its parents, subsidiaries and related parties, and
their
immediate families. All federal, state and local laws apply.
Void where
prohibited. Tournament sponsored by Atari Games Corporation,
675 Sycamore
Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035.
Deadline: The TEAM RUSH SWEEPSTAKES begins on July 18,1999. To be eligible,
all entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard
Time
on December 31, 1999. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen,
late,
mutilated, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or misdirected mail,
mechanical errors, typographical or printing errors, computer malfunctions,
faulty transmissions or network errors. Entries that are mutilated,
incomplete, defective, altered, illegible, forged, irregular in any
way or
not in full compliance with the official rules are void.
To Enter: Participants may enter the TEAM RUSH SWEEPSTAKES by registering
their name on a participating RUSH 2049 arcade game. Each time
that
participant plays the same RUSH 2049 unit, in the same location, the
participant may enter his or her PIN number prior to playing.
The game will then track the participants' statistics, including total
miles driven, best
times, and driving preferences. When a participant has, over
time, reached
certain mileage thresholds (50 and 500 miles), the player will receive
a
prize password at the end of the game.
To participate in the sweepstakes, participants should then send their
name, age, phone number, address and password to TEAM RUSH SWEEPSTAKES
ENTRIES, Atari Games Corporation, 675 Sycamore Drive, Milpitas,
CA 95035.
Or, participants may enter without purchase or store visit by
printing
their name, age, phone number and address on a 3 X 5 card, and sending
it
to that same address. Non-purchase entrants must specify either
50 mile or
500-mile prize pool on entry form for the entry to be eligible.
Selection: The first 500 eligible entrees actually received in
each
category (for a total of 1000) sent by first class mail through the
U.S.
Postal Service, will win. Limit one entry per prize pool, per
participant.
Entries for each prize pool must be sent in separate envelopes. Winners
will be selected by authorized representatives of Atari in the order
they
are received. All decisions of the judges are final and binding on
all
matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Prizes:
500 Mile Sweepstakes (500) -- The first 500 eligible entrees received
will
receive a Rush 2049 T-shirt. (Estimated retail value $3.00 each)
50 Mile Sweepstakes (500) -- The first 500 eligible entrees received
will
receive a Rush 2049 collector pin and Team Rush member card. (Estimated
retail value $6.95 each)
Total Prize Value: $4975
Odds: Odds are dependent upon the speed and number of entries received.
Notification: Winners will be notified mail and/or telephone within
45 days
of receipt of winning entry.
No entries by facsimile overnight courier, delivery service or electronic
transmission. Winners will be required to complete affidavit
of
eligibility, waiver of liability and publicity release, which must
be
returned within 15 days of receipt or any prize award will be void
and will
be awarded to an alternate winner, who will be chosen according to
the
order in which eligible entries were received. If winner is a
minor,
winner must provide signed parental or guardian consent, in a form
provided
by the Sponsor, in order to receive prize. Limit one prize per household.
All prizes will be awarded. No substitution, cash redemptions
or transfer
of prizes, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor if advertised prize
becomes unavailable. Taxes are the responsibility of winners. By
participating winners consent to use of their name, address and likeness
for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes without additional
compensation, except where prohibited by law. All entries become
the
property of sponsor and will not be returned. By entering, winners
consent
to use of their name, address, and likeness for advertising, promotional

Winner's List: For a winners' list, please send a self-addressed
stamped
envelope (WA and VT residents may omit return postage) by January 7,
2000
